Use of a drone in a home inspection

Drones, also know as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAV), and are one of the most advanced types of robotics available today. These are another valuable tool in the inspector's tool box as they are able to quickly and effectively deploy a drone, fly it to the object they wish to inspect, and view it in real time and remotely in high definition (HD).
While walking a roof preferred, there are times when the roof is too fragile, steep, or high to safety walk the roof. In cases like this, when regulations permit, we use a drone to access these areas.
We have successfully completed Transport Canada's Pilot Certification and follow their regulations including registering the drone.
